Also known as Bartender’s Lime, Tahitian Lime, and Persian Lime. Attractive semi-dwarf tree produces an abundance of fruit. It is less thorny and more cold hardy than other limes. Developed by John T. Bearss in Porterville, California. It is the most widely used lime because it is seedless, with great flavor. Fruit stays green in tropical climates and turns yellow when ripe in California.
