Soil & Water: Keep seedlings moist and provide half-strength fertilizer every two weeks after leafing begins.

Planting & Growing:Begin indoors, 6 weeks before last frost. Sow 1" apart in containers of seed starting mix. Cover lightly, keep moist and provide a strong light source. Transplant 3" apart in larger containers when able to handle. Harden off outdoors before transplanting 12-18" apart.
