Biennial Heirloom. Solar Yellow Carrot's roots grow to 7" in a classic Danvers shape, that is broad throughout and tapering to a small point. The buttery-yellow roots are sweet and crisp. These carrots get their yellow color from the pigment xanthophyll which supports eye health.

Did You Know? Purple and yellow are the original colors of the domestic carrot. Red, white, and orange carrots were developed later.
