Mustard Greens - Mizuna - Brassica juncea
Hardy Annual Mizuna is an ornamental and edible mustard green with a sweet, mild flavor. Its deeply cut leaves are outstanding in salads. This slow-bolting mustard keeps producing when cut and stays mild. Flavor is rich when cooked.

Soil & Water: Mustard greens prefer rich, fertile soil with a pH of 6.0-7.5. Add plenty of organic matter. The plants need regular, even moisture to avoid bitterness.
Planting & Growing: Start seeds indoors and transplant out before the frost, or sow seeds directly a few weeks before the last frost. Mustard is very cold tolerant.
Harvesting & Storage: Begin harvesting individual leaves after the center rosette has begun to develop.
