Tender Annual Indeterminate. Heirloom. The short vines of Cherokee Purple produce purple-pink-brown flattened globes weighing 10-12 ounces. The tomatoes are delicious with a pleasantly sweet, rich flavor. With thin skin and soft flesh, the fruit is somewhat perishable. This variety is reputed to have been grown originally by the Native American Cherokee tribe.
