How to sow McKana’s Giant Mix Columbine seeds:
Direct sow in autumn or mid-winter for best results. Seeds can also be started indoors, though they require extra preparation. Sow seeds in flats filled with moistened, sterile seed-starting mix, place the flats inside plastic bags, and refrigerate for 2 to 3 weeks. Then move the flats outdoors to a shady location, sink them into the ground, and cover with glass. Transplant seedlings as they appear. Germination may take 30 to 90 days.
